Jewelry
My jewelry work began as an exploration of symbols of authority, inspired by teaching art in the 1990s. Over time, this evolved into a more free-form approach, where beading became a medium for personal expression. The Two Series embodies this shift, combining disparate elements to evoke internal self-reflection. Drawing influence from traditional Japanese packaging, undersea life, and abstract forms, my pieces range from wearable art to conceptual sculptures that incorporate beads, mixed-media, and narrative elements. Each creation serves as a visual language, exploring the interplay between materials and meaning.
