IBP Plaques
In the 1970s, I sought out miniature objects for my Juju boxes but initially overlooked Legos due to their rigid structure. That changed when Tyco introduced compatible finishing bricks, sparking new possibilities. By the 1980s, toys and dolls had taken center stage in my work, and I used Legos to construct a Medieval site and a seven-foot tower. Later, inspired by the collapse of the Women's Action Coalition, I began a pyramid that mirrored the disintegration of the group. The color palette—black, white, gray, and blue—reflects this transformation, with echoes in other pieces like the "WACTales" lariat.
